Al-Furqan Center for Art of Cooking and Etiquette Education was founded in 2000.
The aim of establishing the non-profit center was to rehabilitate and assist in raising the level & potentials of chefs and training them to raise their efficiency in the hotel field, while also providing the regular trainee with the basics of cooking and putting them on the first road with their experience.
We are in a country that has a special taste in food and enjoys the taste of the finest and different cuisines therefore they aim to teach the best of international and Qatari traditional cuisine.
Al Furqan center, look forward to meeting all tastes of Arab, Qatari, Shami, Oriental, French, Sicilian, and Turkish food & sweets.
The Center's menu changes every 3 months and covers different types of dishes.

- Learn how to cook tons of international & Arabic food.
- Learn to bake, grill, sauté, fry & much more.
- Learn how to prepare appetizers, main course as well as desserts!
- Each class is for up to 2 hours.
- Classes are conducted in English & Arabic.
- Some of the dishes you will be taught include - various types of salads, shish taouk, kafta, fajita, shawarma, cupcakes, english cake, spring rolls, sambusa, kibba fried or grilled and with yougurt, various types of pastas & pizzas, various types of soup, biryani rice, roasted chicken, different varieties of bread & muuuch more!
- Satisfy your sweet tooth by learning to make desserts like - um ali, qunafa(with cream), cookies, chocolate cake, orange cake with fruits & loads more!
- No prior cooking knowledge required.
- You will be taught how to make these delectable dishes from scratch.
- Students are not required to bring any equipment such as knives, cutting boards etc. It shall be provided at the center.
