LSE was founded in January 2013 by David Moreland (PGA Golf Professional) and Carl Windley (USPTA Tennis Professional). David and Carl have over 25 years combined experience in sports coaching and management, with both of them residing in Qatar for the past 11 years.

LSE will establish partnerships with local sports venues with the aim of helping to maximise the potential of their facilities, whilst also providing the community with an organised, professionally operated sports network.

The company will have three main areas of focus:

Sports Academies - Through building relationships with educational facilities LSE will aim to establish junior academies offering a variety of professionally coached sports. Sport is currently at the forefront in Qatar, however grass roots development is lacking and only exists as part of after schools activities with the exception of a few dedicated organisations. The majority of national focus is placed on elite students with the aim of generating athletes who can represent Qatar in the future. The aim of LSE is to encourage pupils to experience a wide range of sports at an introductory level, and help them to build the necessary skills and understanding required to excel in their chosen discipline (s)

Sports Leagues - Through the introduction of sports leagues LSE will deliver a variety of fun, social and competitive sports that will appeal to the whole community. Their interactive website and social media network will provide customers with up to date information and simple booking and payment procedures. Multiple venues will be sourced enabling their clients to choose the most suitable location.

Events - The LSE team will use their wealth of experience to organise and help facilitate sporting events throughout Qatar. Through utilisation of the resources and equipment used for the academies and leagues LSE will be able to offer corporate entertainment, custom events and provide support to national sporting fixtures.

LSE has very close ties with Legion Sports who are a sports management company. Legion Sports Management specialises in the representation of top flight professional sportsmen and women. They offer the complete support network to top sports professionals and their families in both the business and personal world. Through our connection to Legion we are in a position to bring a wide variety of sporting stars to be involved in charity events, gala dinners and coaching clinics.
